Inspired by the vision and leadership of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah and member of the Supreme Council, E-Government Department mandated in 2003 under the management of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi.
Fujairah E-Government is in-charge of e-government program and digital transformation of government services in Fujairah by establishment of fully integrated and effective government using the latest technology with the aim of Providing high quality, integrated and innovative government services at anytime, anywhere. Improving the experience of Fujairah residents and supporting the UAE's competitiveness by providing smart government services through digital channels in partnership with all our stakeholders. Enabling the digital future of Fujairah by supporting our government partners. We enable, support and deliver a digital government that is proactive, collaborative and secure. We support and deliver integrated platforms, services and channels to enable our government partners towards personalized and seamless government service experiences.
The Department was mandated to modernize the then existing Information and Communication Technology Infrastructure across all the Government Departments. We now have about 20 departments in the Government Of Fujairah.
